School is out and we've been exploring parts of Dubai we've never been to. So far so good, it's been really fun even though my whole body hurts lol. A lot of walking involved.

In spirit of...

A little throwback in the spirit of national day. UAE you've been good to me and I can't believe my days here are almost over. It feels like I just came here yesterday. Happy 43rd National day. These past few years have been an experience that will stick with me forever.
I can't wait to go check out the graffiti at the jumeirah beach park. Goodnight.

Third floor wanderers

This is probably the 2nd thing I will ever contribute to architecture lol. My good friend had an assignment to do and I wanted to take pictures so I tagged along. We wandered off to palm jumeirah and did some exploring. It was super windy and I got a ton of sand in my eyes but it was worth it. A breath of fresh air from all the work I've been doing.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Sitting and wondering why I've never had a proper shoot with a male client therefore I'm on a hunt to find a location. The location will in turn point me towards the right client… Hopefully. I'm excited!!

Apart from finding a location, I have about 3 weeks to get so much school work done. I promised myself not to procrastinate this time and so far… well its an improvement.

Lastly, I've rediscovered Labrinth and I'm in love with his talent. I stumbled on a song of his called jealous on Tuesday and I honestly cannot stop listening to the song. It's not like I connect with it on a personal level but it just makes me feel some type of way. All you want to do is hug him and tell him everything will be ok. Plus I find myself wanting to like the video every time I watch it. Anyway if you haven't seen it, check it out.

ADVENTURE DAY

After months I am finally with family. Spent my day at the museum and aquarium. The jelly fish was the cutest thing. I wanted to hug it. Anyway it's been a while I updated so here are some random clicks from today's adventure. Until next time.

Breast cancer awareness month

It is that time of the year again. Yes, October is all about pink. Breast cancer does not discriminate against race, age, gender, ethnicity, the rich or the poor. Therefore each and every individual needs to get educated, informed and spread the message. There are a few events happening this month and I will try as much as possible to keep the blog updated. I will leave you all with 3 steps for preventive care.

1. Self breast examination; a woman should begin practicing breast self examination by the age of 20 and continue this practice throughout her life even during pregnancy and after menopause. It should be done regularly at the same time every month.

2. Clinical examination should be done by a physician or nurse trained to evaluate breast problems.

3. Mammography is a low dose x-ray of the breasts to find changes that may occur.

I know I said I was done writing for tonight by one of my favourite fashion blogger posted up 20 facts about herself and I immediately felt I needed to do it (even though nobody tagged me). So here it goes.

1. Even though I love to read, I end up buying more books than I read.

2. I'm obsessed with TV shows. It's crazy!

3. I've had glasses since I was 7.

4. I act all badass but in reality I'm the biggest baby, ask my mum. (I probably shouldn't have shared that lol)

5. I've dated more celebrities than you can ever imagine (in my head)

6. My love for photography started with vanity. Yes I was into selfies way before it became cool.

7. My mum once told me that I may end up becoming negatives because of the excessive pictures I take of myself.

8. Most people think I'm very quiet which is sorta true if you don't know me that well.

9. I'm fascinated by psychology. Thanks to Dr Wanda, I'd love to get a masters in psychology.

10. I'm really good at mario cart.

11. I actually enjoy staying indoors

12. I can watch food network all day everyday

13. I have large feet (true story) but love them. No room for insecurities.

14. I LOVE SAM SMITH!

16. Most of the songs on my iTunes are slow (I have no idea why)

19. I laugh ALOT, like ALOT. Sometimes if not most times at the most inappropriate things or moments

Back in Dubai. WIFIIIII! lol

Hi guys, summer is almost over for me. It was a good one. I did a couple of shoots back home and my favourite had to be this. She is such a cutie and her mum is amazing. Beautiful person in and out. Actually her wedding was the very first I shot. When I found out little Ihsan was on the way, I knew immediately that I had to give her a photo shoot. It was a funny day as well and luckily for us she didn't cry much. Got to finish in about an hour plus. I picked up her beanies at craftyhands14. (Check them out)

Long overdue

Long time no post. I did not mean to go on such a long hiatus but I've been experiencing creative block. I don't know what is happening. It is kind of frustrating. I even tried going through old photos but I didn't like any of my previous work. They make me cringe every time I see them which is good (I guess). I've got 2 weeks left of school and hopefully I'll be able to concentrate enough and come up with something.

I am finally back with a new post. Here is our long awaited trip to the desert. I tried sand boarding and fell on my ass and got poked on the wrist by a falcon but it was fun.
