with love, paris

I just realised I barely shared pictures from my trip to Paris. There's been so much happening and I've basically dedicated my free time to sleeping and watching my shows rather than sorting things out and editing and updating the blog. If I'm being totally honest, I needed the time off even though I got tired of doing nothing, it was still highly needed. I have a week off of work so I figured I'd close this week off with a post. I'll in shaa Allah post some more in a few days.

Pictures are from the Louvre museum, the beautiful Eiffel Tower and Notre dame cathedral.

Burj Khalifa

After years of planning, we finally made it to burj  khalifa (at the top) and all I can say is we should have done it sooner. We couldn't all go our separate ways without visiting it  together. I ended up dumping my camera and using my phone instead. Anyway enjoy.

personal | graduation | thank yous

I promised myself never to get too personal on here but today I might do just that. So I graduated and I expected to be extremely happy about it but… ehhhhh (because exams). These past 3 and half years have shown me different sides of myself and I'm forever thankful for the opportunity given to me. I started out quiet and a little scared tbh. Barely had any friends my first semester and I didn't really like being away from home but then I grew to love Dubai. I met some amazing people who I'm happy to call my friends today. We've laughed and shared our dreams and thoughts on different things and I will forever cherish my time with them here. So I'd like to say my thank yous.

First to Allah swt, he made everything possible.

To my parents for believing in me and investing in my education. Thank you so much for your love and support. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know.
To Fati, Sawdah and Hadiza for being crazy, supportive and amazing sisters. Thank you.
To Aunty Billy for her advice and endless stories lol. Thank you.
To Laliiiiiiiii haha I love you too much. Thank you for listening to me rant about life, my blog and so on, for your support as well.

To Aisha (the future badass architect) for listening to my dry jokes and not judging me, I will miss you and most especially our "nasara" activities and I wish you have an amazing senior year.

To Hauwa, Hauwaskororo thank you for the laughs that led to tears, for the nandos trips and all the rice eating. Best of luck!

And to all my other friends, Dami, Naima, Simi, Hanifa and list goes on. You guys are awesome and I'm definitely going to miss you all. I wish you all the best of luck.

Big thank you to my professors. They are the real MVPs.

With all these thank yous I feel like I just won a grammy or something lol. Anyway just thank you to everyone that has directly or indirectly affected, influenced and helped me grow these past few years. I may not have mentioned you on here but I appreciate you all. So yeah thats about it. I'm off to do some adult stuff (whatever that is). Best of luck to CUD class of 2015. Success to all! Now go be great.

Aisha, the graduate.
