For a good cause

Hi

So whats it been like... a day or two  *awkward stare*...
Anyway this post is about a good cause and not how long its been since I last made a post which I feel is what I post about a lot lately.

Yesterday
I tagged along with IAD initiative and participated in their activity session. It was a fun filled day and I got to put my camera to good use. IAD initiative is a non profit organisation that basically has its focus on community development through education. They are situated in Kaduna, Nigeria. If you are interested in finding out more about them, please check out their website Ideal Aid & Development Initiative

Here are a couple of the pictures I took today.

Enjoy

He was laughing before and after this shot was taken, I promise.

She wasn't having it.

Walid

My favourite. She has such an adorable smile.

Found out we are from the same state.

She was shy.

Very chatty young ladies lol.

Love this one too.

Lynaz makeover

Hi

Considering 99% of my friends are out of town and with limited places to hang/visit I decided to tag along for my sister's make up session with Lynaz makeover and it was definitely better than how I've been spending my friday afternoons lately (FYI I just sleep after work).

Anyway like any other day I had my camera with me. I took a few portraits which I've been trying to edit for the past 24 plus hours. If you've read some of my previous posts then you'll know how much of a pain my laptop is atm.

Here are a few of the pictures I patiently tried to edit. Hopefully I will have some more up if I can gather up the strength to be patient… or not.

Enjoy.

Wedding bells

Hello

So last weekend was all about my lovely friend, Aisha. I still can't believe her wedding has come and passed. I got to see a lot of my old Zamani classmates and it was just filled with love and fun. Now back to Aisha… where do I even begin. She was such a stunning bride and had the most beautiful smile. I'm so happy for her and I wish her nothing but a long happy loving and successful marriage with lots of adorable babies.

Also on saturday, IAD had a summit which I unfortunately couldn't stay long at because of the wedding. I really wanted to stay for the whole thing but… Oh well the summit was a success and I'm looking forward to the next one. Please do take out the time to go through their twitter TL IAD_initiative or their website http://idealaid.org

I'm going to leave you all with a couple of pictures from my weekend.
Enjoy.

Lady x Leaves

Hi there,

I've been having major problems with my laptop and uggh it is just so annoying. Editing pictures has been a pain. I'm going to keep this post short because it keeps freezing while I type.

Took these pictures a couple of days ago. I used natural and artificial light. It was an impromptu shoot as well.
Enjoy the post.

Eid portrait-ish post

Hi guys

Eid Mubarak to everyone that celebrated. I hope you all had a lovely time. I know I enjoyed mine surprisingly. I intended on staying home and sleeping through out the day but I ended up going out and interacting with people.

I had the idea of doing some portraits and I thought I'd end up with a dozen of those but… Anyway here are a few pictures I took while celebrating eid.

Until next time

Aisha
