Kush town

Everything about the journey to Kusherki was interesting. Niger state's landscape is absolutely beautiful and I found myself taking photographs in my head because we obviously couldn't keep stopping every few minutes. The only downside about the trip was the bumpy road, OH LORD! My back still hurts from falling into unavoidable potholes.

I may be turning into a wedding photographer (Oh God). It isn't exactly where I thought I'd be heading to but I'm still figuring things out so we'll see. At the end of the day photography is what I love and it is what I want to pursue. My only hope is that I never lose my purpose because it gets hard when you're trying to do your thing and everyone else keeps trying to make you fit into what "everyone" else feels is the right thing.

Excuse my rant.

Anyway I was the main photographer for the whole 2 days and it was stressful but worth it. Nana is like an older sister to me so I felt right at home. I'm super happy for her and may Allah bless their union. As promised, here are a few pictures from the event.

Happy viewing.
